Using Outlook for Android to check your BlueOnyx email account is possible, but requires certain parameters be set properly. This guide assumes you are setting up a new account from scratch.
- Enter the email address of the account you want to add to Outlook and click the CONTINUE button in the lower right corner.
- When prompted IMAP or POP3, choose IMAP.
- On the "Connect IMAP" screen, enter
- Your account's password
- For "Display Name" put your name.
- For "Description" add something that will be helpful for you to identify the account.
- IMPORTANT: select the "Advanced Settings" slider
- IMAP Host Name should be the server name for your account (ie: webXX.virtbiz.com:993 where XX = the webserver number assigned to you by the Support Team)
- IMAP username should be the USERNAME FOR YOUR ACCOUNT, and NOT your email address!
- IMAP password is your account's password
- SMTP Host Name should be the server name for your account (ie: webXX.virtbiz.com:465 where XX = the webserver number assigned to you by the Support Team)
- SMTP username should be the USERNAME FOR YOUR ACCOUNT, and NOT your email address!
- SMTP password is your account's password
