Our webhosting server control panels are protected by SSL-encrypted connections. This ensures that your data and transactions are processed securely.
However, when logging in via https://www.yourdomainname.tld... you may encounter a browser error warning you about the security of the page not being verified. The warnings will typically read something like:
Mozilla Firefox: "This Connection is Untrusted" or "Your connection is not secure"
Microsoft Edge: "There is a problem with this website’s security certificate"
Google Chrome: "Your connection is not private"
Internet Explorer: "The identity of this website or the integrity of this connection cannot be verified"
In this case, it is safe to ignore the warnings and continue loading the page.
The reason this occurs is because all SSL certificates are issued to specific domains. We have issued SSL certificates to our shared hosting control panels in the "virtbiz.com" domain. When you pull the control panel up under your own domain name, your web browser is unable to verify the authenticity. Therefore your browser alerts you with a warning. However, in this case it is safe to continue.
