How do I FTP my website to the Plesk server?

In order to publish your web page, you need to compose it in HTML format on your computer. When you are ready to publish the page, you transfer the HTML file to the server. Once the transfer is done, your web page becomes 'visible' on the World Wide Web. This is typically done via FTP, either using a dedicated FTP client (such as WS-FTP, CuteFTP or others) or with a web publishing program (such as Dreamweaver, CoffeeCup Web Designer, or others).

FTP typically uses your main account username and password. If you have multiple domains hosted, then your FTP username will be specific to each domain.

IMPORTANT: If you are using an FTP client to transfer, then set your initial directory (maybe known as host directory or home directory) to "httpdocs/". If you publish those files to any other location, your website will NOT be visible.

Use passive FTP, User firewall and User Secure FTP (SFTP) should all be UNchecked.
====

Host Name/Address: www.DOMAIN.TLD (substitute DOMAIN.TLD for your domain name)

Password: (your password)
Default local directory: directory on your computer that holds the website

NOTE: Make sure that when you upload your website, you upload to the httpdocs directory.
